The launch of VARD's first hull for a CSOV (Commissioning Service Operations Vessel)

The launching of VARD's first hull for a CSOV (Commissioning Service Operations Vessel) happened at Vard Braila in Romania 8th July. Now the hull will be finalized at Vard Søviknes in Norway. VARD and Rem Offshore has contracted two vessels.

With a length of 85 meters and a beam of 19.5 meters, the vessels will have a height-adjustable motion-compensated gangway with elevator system, a height-adjustable boat landing system, and a 3D-compensated electrical crane. The CSOVs will have an accommodation for 120 persons on board.
